canfield is a second story addition to a home that originally possessed some fine craftsman details on the interior but lacked similar appeal on the exterior. when the clients decided to add a second story, we saw this as an opportunity to bring the craftsman style to the exterior. we used cedar shakes on the second story level and horizontal cedar siding on the lower level. we also designed the details around the windows and gable ends to reflect true craftsman style. the end result is home that allows its craftsman roots to really shine.
