glyndon was originally a small 1000 s.f. 2 bedroom, 1 bath home. our goal was to add a 600 s.f. master suite and open up the floor plan to allow natural light to flood the remodelled home. we decided to maintain the one story context of the house in keeping with the surrounding neighborhood and  pushed a  portion of the exterior envelope into the backyard. the entire house was taken down to the studs and all new systems were installed throughout, including new roof, stucco, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and hvac. we also designed a modern landscape to compliment the new home including the front concrete steps which provide an elongated and architecturally interesting  entrance to the new home. it is now a 1600 s.f. 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with an open floor plan that allows a cohesive flow between the living room, kitchen, and dining room and also provides for a full master suite.
